Who said jazz was dead? Another day, another post, another jazz flyer! This is for the inaugural ‘meet’ of a new live venture celebrating the diversity of London’s jazz scene featuring some of the city’s finest session musicians, vocalists and DJs at the rather excellently named The Last Days of Decadence. The event is hosted by sax man Jake Telford and features resident DJs Nik Weston and Rob Coley plus special guests (and possibly even yours truly at some point in the new year). I can see real potential in this look and can already see future posters for the event, so I am hoping that jazz on a Sunday afternoon in Shoreditch is a real crowd-pleaser.
