The Secret List: Paris launch

The Paris edition of The Secret List is getting a swanky book launch in December at the excellent Superfly Records. I’ll be there to talk to anyone about the design of the books, but more importantly than that, the author will be there to discuss the project. There will be a book signing session, a […]

Mo Kolours Pan-Galactic Tour

Mo Kolours is about the embark on his Pan-Galactic Tour and to celebrate he has a new track here. The poster below shows the dates of the tour in full. The tour will showcase the debut Mo Kolours album that came out recently and as such, this is an ideal opportunity for me to post […]

A new venue means a new look

After many, many years at the same venue The Fickle Formula is moving this month so we decided this was reason enough to update the look. So, a new look to go with a new venue but, you will notice, ‘same fickle format’.

The Jazz Meet meets John Peter Raven

April 1st would have been Gil Scott-Heron’s birthday and to celebrate his life and mourn his passing The Jazz Meet are doing a special birthday tribute to the great man on March 31st. I’ve collaborated with illustrator John Peter Raven for the poster.

Developing its logic from questions of what a person can look like, or how we recognise a body’s form, it explores means of display and physical […]

Burghley in motion

One of my regular clients, Acland Burghley School, has an annual Dance Show for which I do the invite and the poster. This year’s title is Burghley In Motion and the show takes place at the end of January at the Bloomsbury Theatre.

The Jazz Meet

When I last posted about The Jazz Meet I mentioned that the venture might becoming a weekly one – this has now happened and as such the look for the event has had to change accordingly. May and June’s flyers are shown below, along with the new reverse for the generic flyer which you may […]

The Jazz Meet

In December I posted about a new jazz venture that I had created the identity for and I mentioned how I hoped they were successful as I could see a whole range of possibilities for the posters and flyers. Well, thankfully the new year has started well for The Jazz Meet and there is even […]

I’ve channelled the brilliance of Wim Crouwel for the invite for my own fortieth birthday party. The XL of the title obviously is doubling up as Roman numerals for 40 and for what I expect to be an extra large event, both on the day and in my life.
