The William Morris Society Magazine

The latest issue of The William Morris Society Magazine is out and I think the cover looks superb. It features a John Ruskin watercolour (after JMW Turner) from 1855 and is a fitting finale for the outgoing editor, Susan Warlow, whose last issue this is.

Pinnacle: issue 6

Issue 6 of the CCT members’ magazine Pinnacle has gone to print. This issue is a Sunderland Special highlighting the transformation of Holy Trinity, Sunderland, into the Canny Space.

The Victorian: celebrating 60 years

The Victorian Society is celebrating its 60th year and to commemorate that fact The Victorian magazine has a special cover this issue showing the sadly lost Euston Arch. The painting, entitled ‘The Doric Arch’, is by Barbara Jones and comes from the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Pinnacle: issue 4

The latest issue of Pinnacle magazine features a wonderful cover image of medieval stained glass, taken at St Mary’s, Battlefield, Shropshire.

The Professional Gardener

The Professional Gardener magazine (the quarterly journal of the Professional Gardeners’ Guild) has recently undergone a redesign and the first two covers since are shown below.

Pinnacle: issues 2 and 3

Issue 3 of Pinnacle magazine has just been published with a great cover image by Andy Marshall of Capel St Thomas. Issue 2 showed a details of Quay Place in Ipswich.
