I have been designing The Victorian Society magazine The Victorian since 2005 and it is one of those dream jobs where everyone involved likes the finished product, every time it is published. Despite being a society which ‘is the champion for Victorian and Edwardian buildings in England and Wales’ the magazine looks and feels modern, pics are given the space they deserve and the design is seen as just as important as the content (well, almost). For every issue I still get hard proofs delivered before anything is printed and this image shows the 2009 Annual Report which went out alongside the latest issue.
