A new venue means a new look

After many, many years at the same venue The Fickle Formula is moving this month so we decided this was reason enough to update the look. So, a new look to go with a new venue but, you will notice, ‘same fickle format’.

SPILL: On Contact

The 2013 edition of SPILL Festival of Performance is in April and has been ‘curated around notions of contact and explores issues of connection, exchange and advocacy. In the mix are uncompromising performances, radical live events, participatory interventions, installation, film and discussions’. The Festival is taking place at a range of venues across London including […]

Illusions

Love and death, loyalty and betrayal, truth and fiction: do we ever really know whether we are truly loved? Well, do we? Actors Touring Company might just have an answer with their presentation of Illusions by Ivan Viripaev. The Guardian review said ‘It’s like a bedtime story gone awry’. The show is on now (‘the […]

Girl with robot and flowers

Just had the sign-off on a poster and flyer for The Greg Foat Group album launch. It takes place at Floripa in January and is a combined Wah Wah 45s and Jazzman Records night. The album itself is very good and is out now – and available on vinyl.

Movember

It is that time of the year and I am proud to say I am taking part again. You can watch my Mo grow and, of course, give generously to a very good cause HERE. Thanks in adavance. SPILL: On Proximity

Tonight is the launch night for the latest SPILL Festival of Performance. This year, for the first time, it takes place in Ipswich and I’d be lying if I didn’t say it feels good to see the SPILL branding emblazoned across Ipswich Town Hall. SPILL will now alternative between Ipswich and London, or at least […]

The Jazz Meet meets Keemo

It’s been a little while since I posted anything new, partly because I have been so busy with work, but as I have a chance here goes… This is the latest poster for The Jazz Meet and it features the brilliance of painter and illustrator Keemo. I just love his style and wish I could […]

The Jazz Meet

Pinch and a punch… and a new month means a new poster for The Jazz Meet. This one was done with Estonian illustrator Triinu Lille.

Crave & Illusions

I’ve been working for the Actors Touring Company recently, designing the promotional material for a recent show, The Golden Dragon, an interim company brochure and I’ve also done all the promotional material for their interpretation on the Sarah Kane play Crave. Crave is a contemporary classic, a ground-breaking work that challenges notions of what makes a […]
